Last year, the "hot rod" became the Vermont Traditions Coalition's (VTC) largest fund raiser to date, so I sourced another special interest car to give to a lucky supporter again this year in hopes of duplicating that success.
The car is a 2010 Camaro 2SS with a 6.0 liter supercharged engine, 6-speed manual transmission, leather seats, AC, cruise control, and all the other modern amenities. VTC was able to purchase it from the original owner and got paperwork that will go with the car including the original sales reciept for over $50,000. The car has only 70,000 original miles and has been garage kept it's whole life. This is going to make someone one heck of a fun toy. This car has all the modern conveniences and a whopping 600 horsepower!
Please share this with friends, and if you are a member of an organization, urge them to donate as well; as several already have. Winning this car for the cost of a donation could provide a windfall fundraising opportunity for another organization should they win it. Beyond that, this supports VTC and our continued work for the citizens of Vermont who appreciate our traditional rural lifestyle.
Each $100 donation will entitle one lucky donor (or their designee if they are donating in honor of another) to a 1 in 300 chance of driving this car home in appreciation for your support. The drawing will not be held until all tickets have been accounted for, so there is no date certain. Due to the COVID-19 disruption, this has been a much slower process than hoped, but we are looking forward to completing this fundraising drive.
